Injection moulding

Injection moulding is a very suitable technique for manufacturing rubber products of a more complex design.

Injection moulding is a manufacturing process where the material is injected under high pressure (up to 2000 bar) into the mold. Injection moulding can be part of a largely automated production process and is a low cost and fast production technique.

The mould is also an important part of the production process. The design of an injection moulding mould is a process where high quality, efficiency, speed and price are the most important elements.

Injection moulding moulds can be expensive, especially where the more intricate mould designs are concerned. These higher mould costs can be met by producing in larger series.

For this reason, the technique of injection moulding is especially attractive for the larger (and also more complex) production series.
